The control centre of the kit is the GETI GWH04W solar inverter with a rated power of 5,000 W and a robust IP65 rating, enabling it to cope effortlessly with the dusty or damp environments of plant rooms. The inverter converts direct current from the panels into alternating current suitable for standard resistance heating coils. With its integrated MPPT algorithm, it continuously seeks the optimum operating point for the photovoltaic modules, which significantly speeds up water heating and increases the system’s overall efficiency.
