We are offering you the opportunity to purchase an optimally designed solar system for off-grid locations on very favourable terms. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our range. We recommend it to all customers who do not have any special or non-standard requirements.
This system is suitable for both 12V and 24V vehicle batteries. PLEASE NOTE: The photograph of the kit is for illustrative purposes only. 1 x 12/24V, 40A MPPT solar controller 1 x 6mm2 solar cable, red + black with MC4 connectors, 10m Cat. No.: 404290156
1x 16A double-pole DC circuit breaker GETI GF-J01 Cat. No.: 04290185
1x Tongou 50A DC circuit breaker Cat. No.: 04291292 1 x GETI GF-S02 battery isolator Cat. No.: 04290201 This kit does not include a battery. If your caravan does not have an on-board battery, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We’d be happy to help you make the right choice. The kit includes a set of two 10-metre cables. MC4 connectors are crimped onto the ends of the cables for connection to the solar panel. You will also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller to the battery – simply install a DC circuit breaker on this cable as close to the battery as possible, as shown in the diagram. The electrician carrying out the installation will fit ferrules to the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller. At the battery end, the cable will be terminated with suitable terminals, depending on the battery type. We reserve the right to change components depending on current stock availability without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect the functionality of the kit. This is an oversized item, which is not eligible for free delivery. Delivery times from the date the order is placed may be extended by 3–4 working days.
As the kits are custom-assembled, some components (e.g. solar panels) come from bulk packaging. For this reason, they may not be supplied in their original individual packaging. However, we guarantee that all items in the kit are brand new and unused.
