For more than 30 years, we have been selling household goods and electronics to both retail and wholesale customers. We specialize in white goods, products for the home and garden, energy products such as batteries and accumulators, tools, and a wide range of components for DIY enthusiasts and electronics hobbyists.

Growing step by step
TIPA was founded in the early 1990s as a small electronics repair shop. One of its founders was Jiří Pavlík, who is still the owner and managing director of the company today. In addition to repair and service work, the company gradually began to focus on trading and retail. This eventually became the company's main area of activity.
A lot has happened over more than 30 years. TIPA has experienced humble beginnings, gradual growth, devastating floods, rebuilding the company from the ground up, launching several versions of our online store, and many, many other events. There is probably enough material for a whole chronicle.
What matters most, however, is that we are still here. And thanks to you, we are more stable than ever. Today, we generate annual revenue of more than CZK 300 million and employ 150 people across three locations. We operate in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Supporting the next generation
Students have always been an important part of TIPA. We believe that young people are our future. And we don't just say that as a phrase — we genuinely try to put it into practice. For example, we have been running an electronics development center for many years.
Since 2015, we have organized the “S TIPOU za tajemstvím elektronu” competition. As part of the competition, students in several cities across the Czech Republic create a variety of practical electronic devices and projects. Through the competition, we aim to raise awareness of electrical engineering and related fields and encourage potential students to consider studying at technically oriented schools.
