The SPD series micro-inverter is a modern solution for the efficient use of energy from photovoltaic panels, featuring a function to limit power overflow into the distribution network. The system consists of a micro-inverter and a smart electricity meter, which monitors household consumption in real time and optimises energy production to prevent unwanted power feed-in. The micro-inverter converts direct current (DC) from the photovoltaic panels into alternating current (AC), which is compatible with the standard electricity grid. As it is equipped with an anti-islanding function, it immediately stops generating energy and isolates the voltage on the output cable in the event of its sudden disconnection from the socket or a power cut in the grid. This makes it completely safe for domestic use. Thanks to MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, the maximum output of each panel is ensured. The system allows for detailed performance monitoring via the Smart Life (Tuya) mobile app, where you can track current generation, consumption and the status of the device, carry out firmware updates or limit the output power. With an IP67 rating, the micro-inverter is also suitable for outdoor installation and can withstand harsh weather conditions. Another advantage is its low-DC-voltage design, which enhances safety compared to conventional high-voltage string systems.
