Product description

The FNIRSI FD10 is a compact, wireless OBD II vehicle diagnostic tool that connects to a smartphone (Android and iOS) via Bluetooth 5.1. It is used for the rapid identification of faults, real-time monitoring of operating parameters and clearing engine fault codes (Check Engine light).

Product features: - Reading and clearing fault codes (DTC): quickly reads diagnostic fault codes and, once the fault has been rectified, allows the Check Engine light to be switched off
- Real-time data: monitors current sensor readings (engine speed, coolant temperature, speed, throttle position, battery voltage)
- in-depth vehicle scan: offers up to 12 diagnostic functions, including fuel consumption analysis, vehicle performance testing and trip logging
- YMOBD app: the official companion app (available for free download from Google Play / the App Store) automatically detects the adapter and retrieves vehicle information (including the VIN). The app supports Czech Technical specifications:

- Wireless connection: Bluetooth 5.1 - Supported protocols: CAN_BUS, K_LINE, L_LINE (SAE J1850 PWM/VPW, ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4 KWP, ISO15765-4 CAN) - Power supply: 8 to 28 V (directly from the vehicle’s OBD port) - Power consumption: less than 1 W - Operating temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C
- Dimensions: ultra-compact: 49 × 33 × 26 mm (does not obstruct the port) User guide: 1. Download and install the app The device communicates exclusively via the official companion app.Open Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) on your phone. Search for and install the YMOBD app. Grant the app access to Bluetooth and Location Services (GPS) – without these permissions, the phone will not connect to the diagnostic system.
2. Connecting to the vehicle: - Locate the OBD II diagnostic socket in your car (this is most commonly found under the dashboard on the driver’s side, near the fuse box or under the centre console).
- Plug the FNIRSI FD10 adapter into the socket. The indicator LED on the adapter should light up. - Turn the ignition key to position II (so that the dashboard lights come on), or start the engine. (The socket must be live; otherwise, the adapter will not communicate.) 3. Pairing via Bluetooth: Do not set up the connection via the standard Bluetooth settings on your phone. Open the YMOBD app directly. The app should automatically detect the adapter and connect to it. If this does not happen, tap the connection icon in the top right-hand corner of the app (or select the option to search for Bluetooth V5.1 devices).
4. Using diagnostic functions: Once the app has connected to the engine control unit (ECU), the main menu will become available:
Reading fault codes (DTCs): Select ‘Read Codes’ to identify the cause of the illuminated engine warning light.
Clearing fault codes: Once the fault has been rectified, select ‘Clear Codes’ to turn off the Check Engine light. Live Data: Displays real-time graphs and sensor readings whilst the engine is running. Troubleshooting common issues:
The app won’t connect: Switch Bluetooth on and off on your phone, unplug the adapter from the socket for 10 seconds, and repeat the process. Make sure the car’s ignition is switched on.
Registration issue: If the app requires you to register your email address and the car’s VIN code to start, you can enter any placeholder or made-up email address to protect your privacy.
