The Pass Through system allows the entire cable to be routed through the plug (the plug must also be a Pass Through).
The advantage over traditional connector crimping is that this system allows the wires to be routed through the plug, evenly spaced.
When fully crimped at the end, the crimping machine cuts off the excess wires from the plug. This guarantees a much better and more precise clamping of the plug. -Plugs are designed for wire cable.
