The JBD-DP04S007 protection module is based on a tried-and-tested combination of a precision analogue sense chip and a powerful microprocessor. Rather than relying solely on analogue circuits, it evaluates the battery status digitally and with high precision. Thanks to its low internal resistance (only up to 10 m?), the board does not overheat unnecessarily and ensures minimal energy loss even during continuous current draw at the 100 A limit.
- Practical features for everyday use The unit utilises a Common Port configuration, which significantly simplifies the connection of both chargers and loads to a single negative terminal (C-). The unit comes equipped with an external NTC temperature sensor for the cells and the option to connect a mechanical switch (Weak Switch), which can put the entire system into an energy-saving sleep mode with a current consumption of less than 800 µA.
- Optional battery care in winter Do you operate the battery in conditions where temperatures drop below zero? The BMS supports the connection of an optional heating module (heating film). If the sensor detects frost, the module directs energy from the charger primarily towards heating; only once a safe temperature has been reached does it begin charging the cells, which would otherwise be irreversibly damaged in the cold.
