The GEYA 4P (4-pole) modular network switch is a reliable and compact solution for manually switching the power supply between two independent power sources. It is typically used to manually switch a building from the main supply (distribution network) to a backup source (backup generator, photovoltaic system or backup battery system) and back again.
Thanks to its 4-pole design, the switch connects and disconnects all three phase conductors (L1, L2, L3) simultaneously with the neutral conductor (N), ensuring complete galvanic isolation of both networks without the risk of voltage leakage into the backup source. The package also includes removable protective terminal covers to prevent accidental contact with live parts.
The switch features a clear, modular design for a DIN rail with a control lever and has three stable positions (I – 0 – II). The central ‘0’ position ensures complete disconnection of the load from both sources (known as ‘forced break’ switching), which protects both the appliances and the backup generator during on-load switching.
