The fire detector meets all the standards of the ČSN EN 14604:2009 standard for installations according to Decree 268/2011 Coll. (formerly No. 23/2008 Coll.), on the technical conditions for fire protection of buildings, which stipulates that every new building and defined construction object must be equipped with an autonomous detection and signaling device and offers an electronic version of the Declaration of Properties documentation, which is mandatory for the approval procedure.

SAFE 10Y30 – BASIC is a smoke fire detector in a timeless compact design combining the latest hardware and software technologies applied to the functional design of an intelligent detector representing a new level of standard in the field of residential fire safety.

Unique dual-spectral smoke chamber technology
A dual-spectral optical sensor with a blue and infrared LED source with different wavelengths has been integrated into a dust and insect proof, smoke detection chamber. The construction of the chamber with a direct connection to the AI SAFE microprocessor thus offers the most reliable method of detection, which, in combination with a prediction algorithm, enables the measurement of the concentration of microparticles directly in the air and in real time. This unique technology can thus determine the size of volatile particles inside the optical chamber and react only to a real threat in the form of smoke, while ignoring the similar composition of water vapor or other vapors.

Only respond to real threats
In the case of fire detection systems in residential buildings, the priority is to inform people in time about the imminent real danger. The AI SAFE microprocessor was developed based on a detailed analysis of the burning properties of materials and works with a predictive algorithm that compares data from a dual-spectral optical sensor and filters the potential for false alarms in real time. If the recorded data corresponds to liquid particles of water vapor or other types of vapors, the detector will not respond. However, if the dynamics of the data pattern correspond to the actual parameters of the smoke solid particles of the fire, the detector will immediately trigger the fire alarm.

Fire alarm signaling
If the smoke concentration reaches a set value during detection, the detector will automatically trigger a loud acoustic alarm signal with a power of 85 dB, accompanied by flashing of the red LED indicator as a sign of a fire alarm.

SIC technology and remote silencing of the alarm by IR remote control
The detector has a combined button with the function TEST and SILENCE, which is intended both for testing and verifying the correct functioning of the device and for temporarily silencing the detector. If you know the cause of the fire alarm activation and you need to silence the loud acoustic signaling of the siren, there is no need to get to the detector itself in any complicated way in order to silence it with the help of a button. SIC technology allows you to remotely silence acoustic signaling by pressing any button on a regular IR remote control (most controls for household appliances, for example, TV).

No false alarms
The electronic components and circuit board of the detector are equipped with an insulating and protective layer of varnish with IZOVAX nanoparticles, and thanks to the innovative technology of the dual-spectral optical sensing chamber, which can distinguish smoke particles from water vapor, unlike conventional fire detectors, the device can also be installed in very humid environments (in near bathrooms, dryers, kitchens or utility rooms).

Guaranteed operational performance for decades
Power supply is provided by an integrated 3 V lithium battery (built-in, non-changeable) guaranteeing extremely long operation of the detector for more than 10 years. Battery operation enables quick and easy installation and ensures proper smoke and fire alarm operation for more than 10 years after activation. The power battery is activated after placing and fixing the detector in the mounting bracket. After 10 years of protection and 30 days in advance, the detector will notify you of the end of its useful life and automatically notify you that it needs to be replaced. The extended 7-year warranty covers both the battery and the device itself.

Documentation for the approval procedure
On the basis of Construction Act No. 284/2021 Coll. and according to Decree No. 268/2011 Coll. (formerly No. 23/2008 Coll.), on the technical conditions of fire protection of buildings, based on a fire report, the building must be equipped with an autonomous detection and signaling system in the form of a fire detector that meets the standards of ČSN EN 14604:2009. The above-mentioned fulfillment of the technical parameters must be declared by documenting the fire alarm as a construction product in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) No. 305/2011 in the approved form "Declaration of Properties".

At least one fire detector should be installed on each floor of the house, in front of each sleeping area or in the immediate vicinity of bedrooms.
