Central unit (HmIP-HAP)
It works as an access point and offers convenient setup and control of the complex Homematic IP security and smart home system via an Ethernet connection to a standard router and using an intuitive smartphone application (for Android and iOS in CZ localization). The mobile application enables an immediate response to messages and alerts from your smart home system and connects all Homematic IP devices via a free, unlimited cloud, which enables system setup and control from anywhere in the world, transfer of important information and device software and firmware updates, transfers configuration and operational commands from the Homematic IP application towards individual smart home devices.

Voice control via the home assistant is also a matter of course (communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa is supported).

System capacity
Up to 15 users, 80 system components, video cameras can be connected to the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) and countless scenarios can be created. By connecting another Central Unit (HmIP-HAP), the system can be expanded by up to 40 additional system components (maximum 120 components and 2 central units per installation).

Wireless thermostatic head Basic (HmIP-eTRV-B) with LED display
The hi-tech solution of the Basic thermostatic heads from the Homematic IP series consists primarily of a unique algorithm and step motor control mechanism. They replace conventional thermostatic radiator heads, control the room temperature in the room and the heating process according to individual needs, which leads to immediate savings and a reduction in energy costs by up to 30%.

Each Homematic IP thermostatic head has an integrated temperature sensor. Up to three adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be regulated in time intervals (up to 6 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).

The system becomes truly sophisticated in the combination of the thermostatic head (HmIP-eTRV), window and door sensor (HmIP-SWDx) and Central unit (HmIP-HAP), when it is possible to fully use all the system's functionalities, including intelligent heating prediction for maximum energy savings. In the mobile application (for Android and iOS in CZ), you can set up to several weekly temperature profiles, different daily modes of increasing or decreasing the temperature (per day and room) or a whole range of advanced scenarios.

When creating profiles and scenarios, you can take into account all your needs for heating automation with regard to energy saving and feeling temperature. You can set the night mode so that you sleep well, wake up in the morning to a pleasant temperature and enter the preheated bathroom.

Undisturbed sleep
Thermostatic heads (HmIP-eTRV) from the Homematic IP series can be ininstalled in bedrooms and children's rooms thanks to its silent operation and the technology of the design of the cushioned case, which is one of the main advantages of the head for your carefree and undisturbed sleep.

Easy assembly
Direct mounting on radiator bodies with M30 x 1.5 mm thread or using the supplied adapter for most standard types of radiator valves (RA - part of the package). It is enough to simply dismantle the existing head and replace it with a Basic head from the Homematic IP series (HmIP-eTRV-B).

The heads are equipped with a built-in function to protect the valve against limescale and frost from calcification and freezing. Power is provided by two AA type batteries with a lifespan of up to 2 years.

Homematic IP smart mobile application
Once the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) is connected to the Internet, all functions can be used via the free Homematic IP app for smart devices available for the Android and iOS operating systems. The intuitive application in the Czech localization is regularly updated and expanded with additional functions and devices, it offers a clear overview of all possible functions and scenarios. The Homematic IP mobile application enables the control of several Central Units (HmIP-HAP) in various installations (e.g. for holiday homes, apartment rentals, etc.).

Smart home voice control
A large number of Homematic IP devices and system functions offer convenient voice control using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Communication and security
The central unit (HmIP-HAP) is connected to a standard router with an Ethernet cable (RJ-45) and serves as an interface between the Homematic IP cloud located exclusively on servers in Germany and the Homematic IP devices in your home.

For safe, stable and reliable communication, the system between individual devices has its own unique radio technology on the operating frequency of 868.0 - 869.525 MHz with fully encrypted AES-128 communication. Operation on this frequency limits wireless transmission to 1% of the time per hour, thereby ensuring a long battery life of connected devices and users are not exposed to permanent wireless radiation. In addition, the central unit (HmIP-HAP) reliably detects radio interference.

The security of the wireless IP protocol has been tested by the independent Techniker-Verband VDE test laboratory in Germany and the AV-TEST test institute.

Homematic IP wireless technology enables communication with components up to a distance of 400 m in an open space or across several floors of a high-rise building, enabling reliable connection of devices even in remote locations. And if the range needs to be increased, it is sufficient to supplement the system locally with a Switched socket (HmIP-PSM-PE) also functioning as a signal repeater or with another Central Unit (HmIP-HAP).

Privacy Protection
No personal data is collected during activation or during operation, so users remain completely anonymous, despite the fact that the system is based on a cloud solution.
