Autonomous operation
"Autonomous" in this case means that Eqiva brand products work completely independently. No control or central unit is needed for the operation of the individual products. Instead, individual devices can be programmed manually, individually, and with the help of dedicated controls integrated directly on the devices themselves. There is both a normal manual control by turning the head ring button, and an automatic one, when the powerful servo drive of the head will control the hot water flow of the radiator body automatically according to your needs and pre-programmed configurations.

The hi-tech solution of Eqiva thermostatic heads consists primarily of the manufacturer's unique algorithm and step motor control mechanism. They replace conventional thermostatic radiator heads, control the room temperature and the heating process according to individual needs, which leads to immediate savings and a reduction in energy costs by up to 30%. Each Eqiva head also has an integrated temperature sensor. Up to three adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be regulated in time intervals (up to 7 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).

Window opening detection
Preventing the flow of hot water into the radiator body and lowering the temperature during room ventilation is another step to significantly save additional energy costs. The opening of the windows is automatically detected by the thermostatic head during ventilation. Only with intelligent heating control is the room temperature of individual rooms individually controlled and adjusted during the day depending on the daily regime and current needs.

Boost function of accelerated heating
If you feel the need to increase the room temperature immediately based on the temperature you feel, you can simply activate the Boost function on the head by pressing the control button on the ring. The thermostatic head immediately opens the valve with 80% (factory setting) for 5 minutes to allow maximum flow of heating water and immediately raise the temperature of the radiator body.

Maintenance-free operation and new functions
The new version of the Eqiva thermostatic head is equipped with a dynamic and adaptive balancing function.
For efficient operation, the heating distribution systems must be hydraulically balanced. Only radiator bodies through which a sufficient amount of heating water flows can provide the necessary heat output.
Additional functions such as valve protection against limescale and frost ingeniously protect against the risk of calcification or freezing of the radiator valve.

Room temperature compensation is also new. Since the integrated head sensor records the temperature near the radiator body, a lower or higher temperature can be measured in another, more distant part of the room. In order to achieve a uniform constant room temperature, the room temperature compensation function can be activated by ±3.5 °C.

Simple assembly
The thermostatic head offers a number of direct mounting options (without the need to drain the water or interrupt the heating circuit) on radiator bodies with M30 x 1.5 mm thread (practically the most used thread type: Heimeier, MNG, Honeywell-Braukmann, Oventrop, Schlösser, Comap, Valf Sanayii, Idmar, Jaga, Junkers, Pegler, R.B.M., Watts, Danfoss with RA adapter) or using the supplied adapter for most standard radiator valve ranges (RA - Danfoss - part of the package, other adapters are available for practically all types of valves) . It is enough to simply dismantle the existing head and replace it with an Eqiva head. After mounting the head on the valve thread of the radiator body and starting for the first time, the head itself takes the initiative and its fully automated setting and commissioning takes place, regardless of the type of valve.
