A welding helmet, also known as a welding shield or welding mask, is a protective device used in welding and other work that requires protection of the face and eyes from sparks, melt spatter, ultraviolet and infrared radiation, and harmful gases. This mask is made of durable ABS plastic and equipped with a certified self-dimming filter to protect your vision while working. The filter dimming intensity can be adjusted according to the type of work and exposure. After the job is done, the filter will return to its original brightness. The hood is fitted with adjustable padded headbands (cross) that allow for a secure fit on the head and ensure that the hood stays in place while working.
