The GETI GWH02D 4000W MPPT inverter, developed for PV water heating, allows direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistive heating devices, such as water heaters, heaters, heating mats, or heating coils. Additionally, the inverter is equipped with an AC input, allowing it to be connected to the mains power and heat water even when solar radiation is insufficient for heating.
Note: The GETI GWH inverter is only suitable for resistive loads with a bimetal thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats!).
The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the electrical grid or grounded!
The system is simple, requiring only the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a maximum output of 4000W and an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350V DC, mains voltage of 230V AC, and connection to a resistive load, such as a heating coil, electric water heater, electric radiator, or underfloor heating and protective devices.
The direct current generated in the panels, which cannot be directly supplied to heating devices, is converted in the inverter to alternating current that can be used to power heating devices.
The maximum system power is 4000W. The inverter has a priority input from photovoltaic panels, and when this voltage drops below 120V, water heating will be powered by mains voltage 230V AC.
