The laser distance meter is designed to measure distances, distances, heights, distances, slopes, calculation of areas and volumes. If the measurement is performed under adverse conditions, such as bright sunlight, measurements of rough or poorly reflecting surfaces, too high or too low ambient temperature, measurement deviations occur. The laser meter provides a measuring range of 0.05m ~ 80m, a resolution of 1 mm and an accuracy of ± 1.5 mm. The meter turns off automatically after 180 seconds and the laser also turns off automatically after 20 seconds.
The meter has a number of practical functions. Using a laser meter, it is possible to measure distance, area, volume, continuous measurement, indirect height measurement (Pythagorean theorem), addition and subtraction of values, change of measuring unit "m" (meter) / "ft" (foot) / "in" (inch ), inclination measurement (digital spirit level) and much more. The value or the final result of the completed measurement is automatically saved. A maximum of 99 values (measured values or end results) can be recalled from the memory. In the continuous measurement mode, the measuring instrument can move relative to the target, the measured value being updated every 0.5 s.
The laser emits radiation that is classified according to EN 60825-1 as class II. Laser radiation can cause serious eye injuries and eye damage. Therefore, it is not advisable to aim the laser beam at people or animals or to look into a direct or reflected laser beam.
