This product is a smart detector with voice warning designed to indicate the release of carbon monoxide and all commonly found explosive gases in households (natural gas, methane, propane, butane) and in living spaces without significant danger.
The device is ideally suited for gas detection from all domestic gas appliances, gas boilers and indicates the leakage of flammable gas used for heating, cooking or heating.
The SAFE 808COM is equipped with two independent sensors that do not require additional calibrations or a TEST button to start a function that allows the device to verify the serviceability of the internal circuits using an automatic efficiency monitoring system.

The device is controlled by a microprocessor and signals the leakage of CO and gas both optically and acoustically via an 85 dB buzzer.
If the detector detects a danger, the device will start an acoustic buzzer signal accompanied by flashing of the red "ALARM" LED signal and a voice warning "Please be careful, carbon monoxide leak!" or "Please be careful, gas leak!".
Simultaneously with this warning message, the detector display shows the current measured value.

The device is powered by a 230V / AC network with a backup NiMH 9V battery in case of power failure in the electrical network (battery is not included in the package).
Test function The device is equipped with a test function, which is used to artificially simulate the presence of CO or gas and allows verification of the operability of the internal circuits through an automatic efficiency monitoring system.
LCD display It shows not only the current values of CO and flammable gas, but also other additional information such as the capacity of the backup battery via a bar graph, network connection, etc. The backlit LCD display allows recognition and comparison of low and high values of potential danger.
Voice warning function The acoustic signal of the alarm siren is accompanied by a human voice (in the Czech language) informing about the detected danger "Please be careful, carbon monoxide leak!" or "Please be careful, gas leak!".
Where to install the detector We install combined detectors of carbon monoxide, flammable and explosive gases in rooms with the potential occurrence of CO or gas leakage (bathrooms, gas boiler rooms, kitchens, rooms with wavki, karma, direct heaters, heaters, etc.).
The basic criterion for the correct placement of the detector is gas identification, i.e. whether we will detect light gas (rises up to the ceiling) or heavy gas (falls to the floor).
We will choose the installation location according to this criterion. We always install the gas detector on the wall, depending on the type of gas detected, either under the ceiling (approx. 15-30 cm) or above the floor (approx. 15-30 cm), at a distance of at least 1.2 m from the fuel-burning device to minimize false alarms, which they can occur during a short gas leak, for example when lighting a gas boiler or stove and at a distance of approx. 60 cm from the corners, i.e. the place where two walls meet.
Properties of gases and their weight relative to air Propane Butane (LPG): Heavier than air, sinks to the floor. Carbon monoxide (CO), natural gas (LNG, CNG): Lighter than air, rises up to the ceiling. Petroleum: Heavier than air, sinks to the floor. Ethylene: Lighter than air, rises up to the ceiling.
What is carbon monoxide? Carbon monoxide is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas that is produced when fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood are burned improperly. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or malfunctioning fuel-burning domestic heating appliances such as: boilers, gas appliances, cookers, grills, clogged chimneys, ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes.
Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headaches, nausea, fatigue or muscle pain - but these can easily be confused with a diagnosis of the flu.
What is natural gas? Natural gas is piped into your home. Unless you live in the country, you probably use natural gas. It is the predominant energy for heating homes. Natural gas is a fossil fuel containing almost exclusively methane. Methane is much lighter than air and rises upwards when it escapes.
If you are a natural gas user, we recommend installing this detection device about 30 cm from the ceiling to ensure that a gas leak is detected as quickly as possible.
What is propane? Propane is most often delivered to the home in liquid form and is stored near the house in propane tanks. Propane is used in homes in rural areas where natural gas is not installed. As propane is the most commonly used LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), pan and LPG are often used interchangeably. Unlike natural gas, propane is much heavier than air and stays low to the ground. We therefore recommend installing this detection device low to the floor to ensure the fastest possible detection of a gas leak.
