Power is provided by an integrated lithium battery (built-in, non-changeable) guaranteeing an extremely long operation of the device for more than 10 years and an extended 10-year warranty for both the battery and the device itself. Unique second generation electrochemical sensor technology
The second generation electrochemical sensor with de-ionized water electrolyte does not contain ions that could affect measurement accuracy or cause unwanted side reactions. In this way, the SAFE 10YDCO – PRO detector sensor provides reliable and accurate data on the concentration of carbon monoxide in the monitored area and at the same time represents a device with stable performance and a long service life. The second generation sensor of the SAFE 10YDCO – PRO detector has been designed to detect the presence of CO immediately as soon as the gas enters the sensor chamber.
The construction of the chamber with a direct link to the AI SAFE microprocessor then offers the most reliable detection method with the possibility of recognizing false stimuli and, in combination with the prediction algorithm, enables the measurement of gas concentration directly in the air and in real time.
Only respond to real threats
In the case of fire detection systems in residential buildings, the priority is to inform people in time about the imminent real danger. The AI SAFE microprocessor was developed based on a detailed analysis of the properties of carbon monoxide and works with a prediction algorithm that analyzes the data in relation to the current CO level in the monitored space, compares the data from the electrochemical sensor and filters the potential possibility of false alarms in real time to ensure immediate a response to the impending danger in the form of this silent killer.
Alarm signaling of potentially dangerous levels of carbon monoxide
In the event that the CO concentration reaches a certain set limit during detection, the detector will trigger a loud 85 dB acoustic alarm signal accompanied by a flashing red LED indicator to indicate a carbon monoxide alarm, while the current measured CO concentration will be displayed on the detector's blue backlit display.
Environmental function of the display
The backlit multi-function LCD display in alarm mode displays the current measured CO concentration expressed in ppm units, while in standby mode it alternately displays the current room temperature and humidity information in the monitored space, thus enabling you to react to dangerously low or conversely high humidity or temperature conditions in the environment. Temperature level display can be set based on preference in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
Unique design of the device
The combination of battery power supply and the design of the detector housing allow installation by placing the device in an optimal position on a horizontal surface. Thanks to this, a fixed installation of the carbon monoxide detector on the wall is not required, but it can be variably and freely placed (built) on horizontal surfaces, such as shelves, bedside tables, windowsills or other storage areas. The electronic components and the circuit board of the detector are equipped with an insulating and protective layer of varnish with IZOVAX nanoparticles, protecting the electronics of the device even in very humid environments. The device can thus be placed or installed, for example, in bathrooms with storage, gas boilers, boiler rooms, drying rooms and the like.
Memory of the highest measured value
The carbon monoxide detector SAFE 10YDCO - PRO has a memory function of the highest measured value. The memory records information about the highest measured CO concentration even in your absence. By pressing the TEST/SILENCE combined button, you can call up and display this information on the LCD display, regarding the highest levels of measured values since the last memory reset.
Temporary alarm silence function
If the detector detects a threshold level of carbon monoxide concentration, it will trigger an alarm to activate the alarm. In case of unwanted acoustic alarm signaling, it can be silenced temporarily by pressing the TEST/SILENCE button for up to 9 minutes. The temporary silence mode is signaled by the device with a red LED indicator that flashes 4x every 5 seconds in a regularly repeating interval without accompanying acoustic buzzer signaling. If the CO concentration subsequently drops below predetermined values, the detector automatically switches to normal operating mode.
