The FireAngel FA 3322 CO detector continuously tests the monitored environment for the deadly danger of carbon monoxide (CO) with an LCD display that warns and displays not only the current measured CO level, but also has an environmental warning function, when it warns of a low or high value of the room temperature or humidity.

The detector is powered by an integrated lithium power supply exceeding 10 years of device operation and with a 5 year warranty on both the device and the battery lithium power supply.

Unlike conventional detectors, the advanced electrochemical sensor is designed to accurately measure low levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and provide an early warning on the LCD display even before the audible warning of dangerous CO levels.

A quick reaction to the rising CO level is ensured by smart sensor technology, which enables the activation of the increased sensitivity mode with the prediction of an increase in CO level for faster warning and activates the indication for opening the windows, ventilating the space, which minimizes the risk of CO poisoning and prevents the accumulation of dangerous gases at any detection above 180 ppm CO carbon monoxide levels.

Thanks to the automatic diagnostic check, the sensor continuously verifies its functionality and immediately signals any malfunction. In addition, it is also able to warn about reaching the end of its useful life.

Environmental warning function
In standby mode, the LCD screen displays the current room temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or a warning about dangerously low or, conversely, high humidity or temperature conditions in the environment. The multi-function LCD display then changes color to indicate various warnings and at the same time give the user an impulse to respond appropriately to the emerging situation.

The night mode sensor is able to automatically recognize that it is night and subsequently dim the brightness of the optical signaling or acoustic signaling in the case of low power supply capacity.

Portable design for use in caravans, motorhomes and boats
The detector is certified in accordance with the European standards BS EN 50291-1: 2018, EN 50291-2: 2019, and is therefore intended for use in caravans, motorhomes and boats, e.g. on holiday.

Special construction
It enables the operation of the device without the necessary fixed anchoring, and thus becomes portable with the possibility of simple and stable placement on a horizontal surface (for example, on a bedside table, shelf, etc.). The design is moisture-resistant, so the device is also suitable for placement or installation in bathrooms with storage, gas boilers, boiler rooms and the like.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas that is produced when fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood are burned improperly. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or malfunctioning fuel-burning domestic heating appliances such as: boilers, gas appliances, cookers, grills, clogged chimneys, ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes.

Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headaches, nausea, fatigue or muscle pain - but these can easily be confused with a diagnosis of the flu.

It is therefore important to protect your family and home with carbon monoxide detectors.

The carbon monoxide detector has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the Czech technical standard ČSN-EN 50291: 2001 for domestic carbon monoxide detectors. Compliance with this standard has been confirmed by the independent research laboratory of the British Standard Institute (BSI).
