Description
The UDP3305C Programmable DC Power Supply is a cost-effective, branded laboratory power supply with four independent channels from UNI-T. The source contains a classic linear transformer and in channels CH1, CH2 enables work in the setting mode of constant output voltage (CV) in the range of 0 to 30V or in constant output current (CC) mode of 0 to 5A. Channel CH3 provides a constant voltage at the output with the possibility of selecting a level of 1.8V; 2.5V; 3.3V or 5.0V and has overload protection when reaching 3.2A current draw. In addition, there is a USB connector on the front panel, which serves as the CH4 channel and can be used to charge, for example, a mobile phone with a voltage of 5V/2A.
Channels CH1 and CH2 can work independently, or they can be connected internally in series or in parallel, then the source supplies a voltage of 0 to 60V/0 to 5A or 0 to 30V/10A.
The laboratory power supply has an EBTN display with 6 high-precision indicators that simultaneously display voltages, currents and powers in each of both channels CH1 and CH2 with an accuracy of 4 places.
The source has programmable parameters. It has 5 memories for easy storage and recall of set modes, and a button lock to prevent unwanted parameter changes. On the back side of the source housing are the USB-Device and RS232 connectors and the DIGITAL I/O interface for remote control of the source. Using the supplied software, it is possible to record and display the consumption or charging characteristics of the connected load in real time on the connected PC in an Excel table or in a graph, and based on SCPI communication commands it can communicate with the computer. Regular calibrations can be performed by software.
The source contains a temperature-controlled fan, long-term temperature overload of the transformer of the laboratory source is monitored by sensors that turn the source off when the limit value is reached and turn it on again after cooling down.
