Ultrasonic repeller for cats, dogs and wild animals

The Deramax-Kitty repeller serves to protect indoor and outdoor spaces from cats, dogs and wild animals (otters, roe deer, deer, wild game, foxes, hares). The device is completely safe and noiseless for humans. The pests are permanently disturbed by the ultrasonic signals of the scarecrow and leave the protected area in a short time. The operation of the device is ecological without the use of chemicals.

Automatic change of frequency and power:
The Deramax-Kitty repeller has an automatic change of the ultrasonic frequencies used, which are optimized for the given type of pest. At the same time, there are also controlled changes in the performance of the scarecrow. Coordinated changes in frequency and power contribute significantly to increasing the effectiveness of the repeller and to limiting the possibility of pest habituation to the repeller signal.

Resonance amplification of the ultrasound signal:
The Deramax-Kitty scarecrow uses resonant signal amplification, which is important for achieving the highest possible performance with the lowest possible energy consumption. We calibrate the frequencies generated by the electronic circuits of the scarecrow with the resonance frequencies of the used piezo transducers (ultrasound "emitters") within each production series.

Powering the Deramax-Kitty scarecrow:
Deramax-Kitty is a scarecrow powered by a mains power supply (plug adapter). The power supply is not included in the delivery of the scarecrow.

Dogs, cats, otters, roe deer, deer, wild game, foxes, hares.

Scarecrow Resistance:
Indoor and outdoor use. The extinguisher is resistant to water, snow, humidity, dust, high temperature and frost (- 25 °C to + 80 °C).

Safety of the Deramax-Kitty scarecrow:
In terms of its effect on humans, the Deramax-Kitty scarecrow does not disturb its surroundings with unpleasant noise, it is completely silent and safe. It meets the legal limits set for the maximum level of ultrasound. Our internal rules then go beyond applicable laws and take into account current medical scientific works and WHO recommendations for airborne ultrasound signals. Effect on pets and farm animals: This repellent (repellent) also has a negative effect on domestic cats and dogs within its effective range. However, it is not necessary to deal with any special measures on the part of pets. It is quite sufficient if the pet has the opportunity to freely leave the area protected by the device. The scarecrow will not harm your pet, it will just avoid the area. But always make sure that the pet has the opportunity to leave the protected area, and this type of scarecrow must never be used against an animal locked in a pen, etc.

Comfort of operation:
The device does not need to be set up in any way, it works completely automatically.

Scarecrow Location:
A common solution for placing a scarecrow, and usually also the most practical solution, especially in the case of indoor use, is to place it on the ground in one of the corners of the protected area with the front facing towards the center of the protected area. However, it is also possible to fix the scarecrow using screws or double-sided adhesive tape to a fence, wall, post, window, door, etc., which is most suitable for use in outdoor areas. Even in this case, we recommend directing the front part of the spreader to the center of the protected area.

Deramax-Kitty range of effectiveness:
The highest effective distance in front of the scarecrow is up to 32 meters. The range of effective area is up to 700 m². The effective angle of engagement is 180 degrees. The scarer therefore not only has high performance, but the special design of the device ensures the achievement of a very wide effective angle of engagement of 180 degrees, while even at the limit of the declared angle of engagement (that is, outside the main direction of signal emission), the scarer still generates at least 83% of the declared sound pressure level. Of course, the ultrasonic signal also spreads beyond the specified angle of engagement of 180 degrees, but the efficiency is already lower here, and therefore, for the sake of objectivity, we indicate an effective angle of engagement of "only" 180 degrees.

Number of scarecrows in one space:
Any number of ultrasonic scarers can be placed in one place and their signals are not negatively affected in any way. On the contrary, more repellers are usually used to protect especially larger or more fragmented areas, because a greater number of repellers (repellents) installed in one place means a significantly higher penetration of the protected space by the ultrasonic signal and the overall efficiency increases.
