The package includes a universal mounting kit, with which you can easily and quickly install the camera on any wall, ceiling or pole. It is therefore up to you, which type or part of the property to look after. In addition, the camera body is sufficiently resistant to dust, moisture and water according to the IP66 specification, so it will serve you just as reliably for a much longer time.

Wireless and wired connection
The Tapo camera is equipped with 2 powerful external antennas. They ensure greater wireless coverage up to a distance of 150 m (in open space). If you want to connect the camera with a cable, use the RJ45 Ethernet port.

More backup options
The Tapo C520WS unit is equipped with a memory slot that supports microSD cards with a maximum capacity of up to 512 GB. Another backup method is Tapo Care's cloud storage, which provides space for your security records. Recorded video is stored in the cloud for 30 days. You can view it retrospectively using the Tapo mobile application. So you get constant access to your recordings, even if the camera system is stolen or disconnected.

Color night mode
The Tapo C520WS security camera sees day and night without much trouble, as it has a Starlight full-color night mode with a range of up to 30m. You can easily recognize character characteristics, walking characteristics, facial features, tattoos or other key clues from the recordings made in night mode.

Person detection and movement tracking
The Tapo C520WS camera unit uses artificial intelligence for advanced motion detection. It recognizes people, pets and cars in the vicinity. If it detects movement, it will send you a notification. At the same time, you can easily adjust the level of detection or monitor activities only in certain zones. You will be notified immediately when people enter the selected area.

Practical equipment
The C520WS rotating camera also protects your privacy, as its lens is physically blocked with a cover. Thanks to this, you can move freely around the garden without being recorded by the camera. Via the built-in microphone and speaker, you can easily connect with the person standing near the camera.
